In March, an evidentiary panel of the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee disbarred Andrew Jaiah Kai Kai for failing adequately to supervise a non-lawyer to ensure their conduct was compatible with Kai Kai’s professional obligations. In April, Obioma S. Osimiri agreed to a public reprimand by another evidentiary panel, which found that Osimiria committed infractions including accepting a legal matter beyond Osimiri’s competence. In August, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals issued an agreed judgment suspending Kellye Sorelle from practice on account of an unspecified disability.
